Butt Broadcast
BUTT (broadcast using this tool)
Butt can broadcast on Windows, Mac, and Linux. It supports ShoutCast V1-V2 and IceCast and runs on Linux, MacOS and Windows.
The main purpose of butt is to stream live Mic or audio data from your computers sound-card.
It is NOT intended to be a server by itself or automatically stream a playlist of audio files. So you will still need an audio source.

Quick start:
From Your Desktop Lunch Butt Encoder
In order to connect to Streaming Pulse server, you need to add a server in the config window.
Just open the settings window and click on [ADD].
Now fill in the input fields with the server data and click on the new [ADD] Once complete.Name: name used to identify your Station on Butt
Server Address: e.g. us9.streamingpulse.com
Server Port: 4 digit number e.g. 7002
Source Password: Encoder Live, e.g. mysourcepassword
Adding Stream Infos:
You must define the stream title, description, genre, URL of your Streaming.
Under Stream Infos click [ADD]
Name: My Radio Name
Description:24/7 non stop music
Genre: Pop Rock
URL of your station: www-dot-mydomain-name.com
Click [ADD] when complete.
Butt Audio Setting:
From the Tab Audio choose your audio device and select the device wish to broadcast.
Channel: Stereo
Sample Rate: 44100 KHz
Streaming Supports aac+, mp3, ogg/vorbis and ogg/opus.
Bitrate: Select the broadcast bitrate to match your streaming plan you purchased.
To start broadcasting to Streaming Pulse server, click the play button.
